The Public Prosecution opened an investigation into the incident after receiving a notification from the General Department of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Evidence.
The accused, who confessed in the video to collecting money for non-public purposes, wanted to show his influence and ability to resolve disputes between people and resolve them without resorting to specialized bodies.
