Manama, September 4 (BNA) Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal celebrated the International Charity Day on September 5th.
She stressed that charitable and humanitarian work is a culture rooted in Bahraini society, expressing her pride in the humanitarian approach taken by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Zainal praised the charitable efforts made by the esteemed government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the keenness to expand the horizon of charitable work inside and outside the Kingdom.
Zainal praised the role of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, headed by the representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and its national contributions and development projects in providing aid to people in need.
