Speaker inaugurates art exhibition

Manama, Mar. 26 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam inaugurated the Gulf Art Symposium exhibition, which was held at the Bahrain Contemporary Art Society.

Representative Jalal Kazem Hassan was present with the participation of 160 artists from 17 countries.

Al-Musallam stressed that the cultural and artistic movement in Bahrain represents originality and modernity, in line with the comprehensive development process of His Majesty King Hamad bin Al Khalifa.

He affirmed the interest of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support the artistic movement in the Kingdom and Bahraini talents.

The representative stressed Bahrain’s efforts to develop the art scene and bring together different cultures and societies.
