Manama, Mar. 26 (BNA): His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, Special Representative of His Majesty the King, received the President of the UN General Assembly, Sheikha Haya Rashed Al Khalifa, at the 61st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The Special Representative of His Majesty the King thanked His Excellency the President for her regional and international efforts.
He praised the results of the joint United Nations conference held at the invitation of His Majesty the King in Bahrain recently, and stressed the importance of the Manama Declaration issued to overcome various challenges and achieve international peace and security.
Sheikha Haya bint Rashid Al Khalifa thanked Her Highness for her support and all international efforts aimed at strengthening relations and achieving common interests.
