Manama, November 4 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, visited a number of families on the occasion of Diwali. .
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to promoting the principles of coexistence and tolerance, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman added that the Kingdom is a melting pot of cultural diversity, stemming from its broad history of tolerance and pluralism.
His Highness conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister to the families of Asarputta, Thaker, Kavalani, Vidya, Bhatia, Kiwalram and Mulgammal on this occasion.
His Highness affirmed that the Kingdom’s openness has provided a safe ground for various societies to practice their religious rites, adding that the values of Bahraini citizens continue to embrace tolerance and respect for all religions, in line with the teachings of Islam.
His Highness expressed his best wishes to the families for this festival and praised their contributions to the Kingdom’s multicultural environment.
For their part, the families expressed their gratitude for His Highness’ visit, and praised the support of His Highness the Crown Prince, the Prime Minister and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Salman in supporting the societies of the Kingdom.
