Manama, September 5 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Region, affirmed the keenness of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa to follow up on people’s needs in all fields in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He also praised the support of the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to ensure the provision of all basic needs.
This came during a meeting with the Director General of the South Municipality, Assem Abdul Latif, and the East Riffa Police Station, Colonel Fahd Masameh, within the framework of joint cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier General Issa Thamer Al-Dosari, Deputy Governor of the South, and a number of officers and officials in the Southern Governorate.
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa stressed the role of the Southern Governorate in cooperating with the Southern Municipality to carry out preparations for the rainy season.
He referred to the governorate’s efforts to follow up on development projects, including the Riffa Central Market and the Khalifa City Central Market.
