Manama, Mar. 17 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam stressed the importance of community partnership in supporting security and development. He described it as a national and civilized responsibility that affirms the loyalty and patriotism of citizens. He added that it constitutes an advanced and comprehensive security vision for members of the security sector.
On the occasion of the celebration of the day of community partnership and belonging to the homeland, which the Kingdom of Bahrain celebrates on March 18, the Speaker of the House of Representatives urged to preserve and build on national achievements. He praised the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives praised the efforts of the Minister of Interior, Major General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Follow-up Committee on the Implementation of the National Plan, to spread the spirit of belonging to the homeland and the consolidation of values. He also praised the minister’s support for implementing the initiatives of the national plan that were developed in accordance with the comprehensive reform program and the royal vision.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives praised the role of public and private sector institutions, civil society organizations and the media in supporting and developing community partnership, stressing the Parliament’s keenness to advance legislation to strengthen it.
