Manama, June 23 (BNA): His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Region, received today the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Japanese Parliament, Honda Taro.In the presence of the Deputy Governor of the South, Brigadier General Issa Thamer Al-Dosari, and a number of officials of the Southern Governorate.
His Highness the Southern Ruler praised the advanced cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Japan thanks to the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
His Highness the Prince of the South and the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Japanese Parliament reviewed ways to enhance bilateral relations and issues of common concern.
His Highness, the Emir of the South, briefed the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Japanese Parliament on a photo exhibition showing meetings and events organized by the Southern Governorate, which testify to the governorate’s richness in various fields.
The Japanese official thanked His Highness the Emir of the South for his keenness and efforts in strengthening friendship and cooperation relations between the two countries.
