Manama, May 15 (BNA): The Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women, Hala Al-Ansari, chaired today a working meeting in the presence of officials representing the Labor Fund (Tamkeen), the Bahrain Development Bank and Amana Company, which is a wholly owned subsidiary. Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah).
During the meeting, Al-Ansari was briefed on the work at the Riyadat Center and the planned projects and development initiatives.
The meeting also focused on completing the procedures for evaluating the applications of business incubators and accelerators to join the center.
The session also discussed ways to improve the work of the center, promote its new identity through social media channels and traditional media, and enhance the balance between leasing categories such as commercial projects, incubated female entrepreneurs, accelerator owners, and economic incubators.
Al-Ansari noted the progress made by the center during the previous period, according to the monitoring of the executive team of the General Secretariat of the Supreme Council for Women during its field visit to the facility, in addition to periodic reports.
And she stressed the need to accelerate the pace of achievement and harness all the capabilities of the center in the framework of efforts to enhance the economic participation of Bahraini women.
