The United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution proclaiming May 16 as the International Day of Living Together in Peace, recognizing the work of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) that celebrates diversity, understanding, solidarity, and living together in peace based on mutual respect – all humanitarian principles deeply rooted in the mission and vision of UNAOC .
The minister expressed his pride in the lofty royal initiatives and the approach of the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in spreading the culture of peace and consolidating the values of love.
