Manama, April 26 (BNA) His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Region, chaired the fourth meeting of the Security Committee this year.
The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Governor of the South, Brigadier General Issa Thamer Al-Dosari, and officers representing the security directorates of the Ministry of Interior.
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa stressed the importance of following up plans and programs and coordinating with the relevant security directorates to enhance community partnership and the spirit of belonging to the homeland, in line with the directives of the Minister of Interior Lt. Gen. Sheikh Rashid bin. Abdullah Al Khalifa.
The Governor of the South continued the security preparations during the last ten days of the blessed month of Ramadan and the upcoming Eid al-Fitr, stressing the importance of taking all measures and enhancing public awareness.
A presentation was given during the meeting, highlighting the main issues that were received and monitored through social media and field visits, with a primary focus on the security needs of citizens.
