Manama, Dec. 24 (BNA): Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor, received in his office the Chairman of the Parliament’s Services Committee, Mamdouh Al-Saleh.
They discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the executive and legislative branches, especially in the field of social development. They also reviewed the social services provided by the Ministry to all social segments and the initiatives aimed at enhancing social security.
The Minister of Social Development praised the role of the House of Representatives in supporting legislation and programs to meet the aspirations of citizens.
The good deputy praised the cooperation between the Ministry of Social Development and the legislative authority, referring to the social services provided to citizens to enhance social welfare.
