Cairo, Feb. 27 (BNA): Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfour, participated in the first regional conference organized by the Ministry of Social Solidarity in Egypt on “Social Welfare Policies and Social Security Achievement”. .
The conference was held under the auspices of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with the participation of a number of Arab ministers of social affairs, the League of Arab States and concerned authorities in the Middle East, Africa and Europe. It aims to exchange visions and practical ideas about social welfare policies and ways to achieve social security in light of contemporary changes.
The conference also shed light on regional and international practices in implementing social welfare policies, international experiences in alternative care systems, and shaping a future vision for social welfare policies to achieve social security.
