Manama, Jan. 9 (BNA) The Governor of the Southern Region, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, stressed the importance of communicating with citizens and strengthening community partnership in line with the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Highness praised His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for his leadership in digitizing all services and transactions.
His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa highlighted the awards granted to the Government of the South as part of the 2021 eGovernment Excellence Award.
He noted the directives of the Minister of Interior, Major General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to follow up the needs of citizens and meet their aspirations.
He stressed the importance of the electronic platforms provided by the Southern Governorate to citizens to direct their demands, requests, inquiries and complaints.
He cited, in this regard, the weekly virtual council hosted by the Southern Governorate, and email complaint southhern.gov.bh. and other online platforms.
