Manama, October 26 (BNA) The National Medical Task Force to Combat Corona Virus (Covid-19) announced that after the approval of the Immunization Committee, all children between the ages of 3 and 11 years will be eligible to receive two doses of the Sinopharm vaccine, starting from Wednesday, October 27, 2021. .
The working group indicated that the decision was taken after a comprehensive review of all medical health and safety recommendations conducted by the vaccination committee, adding that this step aims to preserve public health.
In addition, the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine will soon be approved for children ages 5 to 11 who will be eligible to receive two doses.

The task force stressed that it is important that eligible children are vaccinated to protect themselves, their families and public health.
