Manama, October 26 (BNA) The Bahrain Olympic Committee signed a cooperation agreement with the Saudi Olympic Committee to develop cooperation in various fields of the Olympic and sports movement and develop close relations between the two countries.
The agreement was signed by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Olympic Committee, and His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal Al Khalifa. It also includes exchanging information about the qualification and development of trainers through specialized programs such as the International Training Enrichment Certificate Program (ICECP), sports medicine programs, technical and athletic administrators programs, benefiting from the best applications in the field of sports facilities, especially Olympic training centers, and benefiting from the best applications and methods. With regard to the training of faculty members working in the two committees, focusing on the areas of leadership, management and organizational development, the search for cooperation in the development of sports activities that fall under the umbrella of the two committees or federations concerned, cooperation in the areas of sports medicine, anti-doping programs and activities, and the management of sports events, And many more.
The two committees cooperate in the development of the International Olympic Movement, coordination and consultation on the most important topics and issues of common interest.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his great happiness at signing this agreement with the Saudi Olympic Committee, noting that it embodies the close relations and the strong relations that bind the leaderships and peoples of the two brotherly countries.
