Manama, May 10 (BNA): The Shura Council said in a statement that the efforts to uphold Islamic values and consolidate the national constants stipulated in the National Action Charter and the Constitution embody the approach and visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The Council commended the decision taken by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who ordered the Minister of Education to immediately stop any change in the educational curricula.
The Shura Council praised the role of religious scholars in preaching, instilling the principles of Islam, and promoting the values of loyalty and national belonging.
The Council affirmed the legislative authority’s commitment to support the initiatives taken to support Islamic and national values.
