Toastmasters Annual Sector 20 Conference starts tomorrow

Manama, May 10 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain is hosting the annual Toastmasters Conference for Sector 20 “DTAC 2023” under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs.

The conference starts tomorrow until May 13 with the participation of 127 clubs for Arabic and English speakers.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser affirmed that the conference comes in line with the Kingdom’s interest in preparing and refining young leaders and empowering them in various fields to contribute to the development process in the Kingdom, in line with the vision and support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Zayed Al Nahyan pointed out the importance of continuing to enhance the role of youth in leadership and speeches and highlighting their linguistic talents, wishing all participants success in the conference.

The conference is joined by Bahrain, Kuwait, Egypt and Iraq under the slogan (Hamas, Experience, Excellence).

The conference is considered an achievement for the ambitious youth, and it coincides with many conferences supported by His Highness Sheikh Nasser, which aim at youth participation in various sectors.

The organizing committee of the conference completed all administrative and organizational preparations for the launch of the conference, with the participation of more than 2,000 participants from Bahrain and Arab countries.

The committee was keen to achieve cooperation with various parties in the Kingdom to make the conference a success and highlight it in a unique way in all aspects.

The first place winner in the International Speech category will represent the sector at the Toastmasters International 2023 Convention, which will be held in the Bahamas in August this year.
