Shura Council Chairman praises HM the King’s support to the legislative branch

Manama, May 5 (BNA) The Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Salah Al-Saleh, praised the legislative steps of the Kingdom of Bahrain since His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa launched his pioneering reform project.

He said that the royal visions of His Majesty the King and his democratic and development aspirations supported legislative efforts during the fourth session of the fifth legislative term.

This came in a statement made by Al Saleh on the occasion of the royal order issued by His Majesty the King, today, to postpone the fourth session of the fifth legislative term.

He said that the key words delivered by His Majesty the King at the beginning of each session and the royal directives represent essential support for the legislative work.

He praised the constructive cooperation between the legislative authority and the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He also praised the efforts made by the members of the Shura Council during the fifth legislative term, praising their sincerity, sincerity and national responsibility.

He stressed the importance of the upcoming parliamentary elections, noting that the Kingdom of Bahrain will witness another chapter in its democratic path during the reign of His Majesty the King.
