Manama, October 25 (BNA) The Speaker of the Shura Council Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh received Minister of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Issam bin Abdullah Khalaf and Minister of Parliament Affairs Ghanem bin Fadel Al-Buainain.
The meeting discussed prospects for cooperation and the most important legislation related to services provided to citizens, especially with regard to infrastructure and the establishment of public facilities.
The Speaker of the Shura Council affirmed keenness to implement the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to enhance cooperation between the legislative and executive authorities.
The ministers expressed their appreciation to the Speaker of the House of Representatives for his keenness to support communication between the House of Representatives and government ministries, and to exchange views on all projects and topics before the legislative authority in a manner that achieves the interest of the country and its people.
