Manama, Jan. 31 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued Decree No. (6) for the year 2023 to reconfigure the Ministry of Parliament Affairs based on the proposal of the Minister of Parliament Affairs and after the approval of the Council of Ministers. .
According to the decree, the Ministry of Parliament Affairs was reconfigured as follows:
The Minister of Parliament Affairs oversees:
First: General Coordinator of the Shura Council and Representative Councils, with the rank of Undersecretary, and specializes in the following:
1- Directorate of Monitoring and Financial Affairs Follow-up
2- Directorate of Legislative Affairs Follow-up
Second: Undersecretary of Parliament Affairs, with specialization in the following:
1- Directorate of Human and Financial Resources
2- Directorate of Legal Research and Studies
Decree (37) of 2020 restructuring the Ministry of Parliament Affairs was rescinded.
The Ministry of Parliament Affairs shall implement the provisions of this decree, and it shall come into effect immediately, and it shall be published in the Official Gazette.
