Manama, June 13 (BNA) The Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, affirmed that people with special needs in the Kingdom have made multiple national contributions and actively participate in the Kingdom’s development plans and programs.
Al-Saleh expressed his pride in the care that the people of determination enjoy from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for them.
He pointed out that the national, regional and international achievements of people with special needs in various fields reflect their keenness to serve the Kingdom at all levels.
Al-Saleh’s statements came when he received here today the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Mobility International (BMI) Adel Sultan Al-Mutawa and members of the Board, in appreciation of BMI’s activities and programmes.
The Speaker of the Shura Council praised BMI’s achievements and successes over the past four decades, praising the programs and activities it provides for people of determination. He affirmed the Shura Council’s great interest in laws and legislation that serve people with special needs, citing the book he published to highlight all laws, decisions and regulations related to them.
The Chairman and members of the Bahrain International Mobility Company expressed their thanks to the Chairman of the Shura Council, highly appreciating the efforts of the Chairman and members of the Shura Council in consolidating the rights of people with special needs.
They also praised the Shura Council’s continuous efforts to spread awareness of the rights of people of determination, praising its positive interaction with programs and activities that target them.
