Manama, Jan. 12 (BNA): Shura Council Speaker Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh affirmed that the agreement between the House of Representatives and the government on the government program 2023-2026 enhances cooperation and coordination between the legislative and executive authorities to ensure sustainability. For the comprehensive development process during the prosperous reign of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the King for his unwavering support for achieving prosperity and achieving national gains in various fields.
He stressed that approving the government’s action plan after a series of fruitful meetings and discussions reflects the keenness to develop integrated and comprehensive programs that define the government’s work during the next four years.
In this regard, he praised the pivotal role played by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his direct follow-up.
He pointed out that the directives of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister contributed to reaching consensus and common visions that achieve national interests and enhance the quality of government work, in line with royal directives.
The Shura Speaker also praised the role played by Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and the ministers for their sincere cooperation with the House of Representatives.
He praised the continuous efforts made by the House of Representatives, headed by Speaker of Parliament Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, praising the rich and valuable opinions and ideas of the legislators while discussing the government program.
He stressed that the government’s action plan is a roadmap to achieving the aspirations of the country and the citizen.
