Manama, January 25 (BNA) The Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, today sent cables of congratulations to the Speaker of the Assembly of States of India, Venkaya Naidu, and the Speaker of Parliament, Shri Umm Birla of the Republic of their country. Today, wishing friendly India more progress and prosperity.
Al-Saleh praised the existing parliamentary relations between the Bahraini Shura Council, the Council of States and the Indian People’s Assembly, stressing keenness to strengthen those relations for the benefit of the two friendly countries.
The Speaker of the Shura Council sent a congratulatory cable to India’s Ambassador to Bahrain Piyush Srivastava.
