Bahrain Islamic Index gains 5.31 points

Manama, January 25 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 1805.09 points, recording a decrease of 4.63 points from the previous close.

This decline is attributed to the decline in the communications services sector, the financial sector, the materials sector, and the real estate sector.

Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 762.19 points, recording an increase of 5.31 points over the previous closing.

The results indicated that 59 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 2,552,276, with a value of 661.103 Bahraini dinars.

Investors mainly trade in the materials sector and represent 50.91% of the total value of traded securities.
