Manama, November 12 (BNA) The Speaker of the Shura Council, Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, sent a congratulatory message to the Speaker of the Federal National Council, Saqr Ghobash, following the selection of the UAE. As hosts of the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in 2023.
Al-Saleh stressed that the selection enhances the position of the UAE in strengthening international efforts to protect the environment and the climate, wishing it further progress and prosperity under its leadership.
