Shaikha Rana congratulates SCW President on Bahraini Women Day

Manama, November 30 (BNA): The Secretary-General of the Higher Education Council, Dr. Sheikha Rana bint Issa bin Daij Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees, member of the Supreme Council for Women. I extended my sincere congratulations to Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, on the occasion of Bahraini Women’s Day.

This year, Bahraini Women’s Day, which coincides with the twentieth anniversary of the establishment of the Supreme Council for Women, is celebrated under the slogan “Bahraini Women’s Day in National Development”.

Dr. Sheikha Rana praised the achievements made by Bahraini women at all levels, noting the strategic role played by Bahraini women in the growth and development of the Kingdom. She also commended the continuous support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Dr. Sheikha Rana emphasized the pivotal role played by Bahraini women in the higher education sector, which reflects their competence in representing the Kingdom of Bahrain and supporting its comprehensive development process. She praised the unremitting efforts of the Supreme Council for Women to provide all support and care to Bahraini women to continue their role as a partner in achieving further growth and prosperity.
