Bahrain participates in AALCO 59th Annual Session

Manama, November 30 (BNA) The Head of Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Mohammed Abdulrahman Al-Haidan, headed the delegation of the Kingdom of Bahrain participating in the 59th annual session of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (ALCO), hosted by the People’s Republic of China in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, in The period from November 29 to December 1.

Ambassador Al-Haidan delivered the speech of the Kingdom of Bahrain, in which he affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to international law and the rules established by international norms and formulated by international treaties related to international trade, in a way that achieves the common interests of countries and their peoples.

He stressed that the Kingdom of Bahrain has chosen peace as a strategic option to achieve just and comprehensive stability in the Middle East region, by establishing a culture of tolerance and peaceful coexistence, and combating the ideology of extremism, fanaticism and hatred.
