Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad visits Tatweer Petroleum

Manama, June 12 (BNA) The representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oil and Gas Holding Company, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, visited Tatweer Petroleum Company, accompanied by some members of the Board of Directors. He was received by the Chairman of the Petroleum Development Board, Eng. Faisal Muhammad Al-Mahroos and a number of company officials.

During the visit, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa listened to a detailed briefing on the organizational, operational and development procedures of the company and its plan for 2022. His Highness was also briefed on the initiatives that the company will launch in the future to support the Kingdom’s efforts to develop the oil and gas sector. His Highness was also briefed on the measures taken by the company to ensure full compliance with the highest standards of health, safety and environmental protection.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa stressed that the oil and gas sector enjoys all the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He pointed to the dynamism of the sector and the implementation of many development projects that are commensurate with global productivity to support the Kingdom’s efforts to support the national economy and the economic recovery plan.

His Highness directed to take advantage of the latest innovative technologies to advance the oil exploration and field management sector. He stressed the support of the Board of Directors of the Oil and Gas Holding Company for all development projects of Tatweer Petroleum and all companies operating under the umbrella of the Oil and Gas Holding Company.

On his part, M. Faisal Al Mahrous, Chairman of Tatweer Petroleum, expressed his appreciation for the visit of His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, describing it as an incentive to continue working at a high pace to implement the company’s plans and programs.
