iGA urges public to use e-Services available on Bahrain.bh and Bahrain.bh/apps

Manama, June 12 (BNA) To spend a quiet summer, the Information and eGovernment Authority reminded citizens and residents of the range of electronic services available on the national portal bahrain.bh or that can be downloaded through the Bahrain eGovernment application store. .bh / apps to take advantage of while preparing for their summer plans or Hajj trips

Passengers are reminded to check the validity of their ID cards which can easily be renewed a month in advance via bahrain.bh along with the Bahraini passport renewal, an e-service provided in cooperation with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) noting that it can be renewed before six months.

Also in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, travelers are advised to download the “My Destination” app via bahrain.bh/apps, to take advantage of the electronic services available before and during travel, such as viewing visa information related to their desired destinations. Go to the insurance data and contact the embassies of the Kingdom of Bahrain, consulates and foreign missions in case they have an emergency situation and you need to contact them.

Passengers in vehicles via the King Fahd Causeway can download the electronic traffic application, provided in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic, and also available through the national portal Bahrain.bh providing users with ease in renewing easily. Vehicle registration, bridge crossing authorization, issuance of certificates and insurance documents for Bahraini vehicles destined for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which are provided in cooperation with United Insurance. It also enables them to submit a request to issue insurance policies upon departure, which can only be issued from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to citizens and residents coming from Bahrain.

When traveling abroad and renting a car, international driving licenses can also be requested through the national portal. They can be issued prior to their flights with their existing valid licenses. Some destinations require COVID-19 vaccination certificates, whether printed or digital, prior to entry. Travelers can obtain their vaccination certificates via the BeAware Bahrain app, provided by the Information and eGovernment Authority in partnership with the National Task Force to Combat Coronavirus.
