SCW participates in Capital Markets Apprenticeship programme

Manama, June 12 (BNA) The Supreme Council for Women participated in the second edition of the vocational training program for capital markets, which is implemented annually by Bahrain Bourse to enhance financial culture and investment awareness and encourage young talent to register in the capital and investment markets sector.

The Assistant Undersecretary of the Supreme Council for Women, Sheikha Dina bint Rashid Al Khalifa, said during her participation in an online lecture that the program’s objectives are in line with the national plan for the advancement of Bahraini women and clarify the nature of the options and opportunities available at work. Market. She added that the program allows participants to gain more specialized expertise in qualitative jobs in the financial field.

During the session, Sheikha Dina highlighted the role of the Supreme Council for Women in following up and supporting the general policy related to women’s empowerment and integrating their efforts into comprehensive development programs without any discrimination. She indicated that the goal is to achieve Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030 and national trends in gender balance.
