The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, Lieutenant-General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, praised the decision taken during the weekly meeting of the Council of Ministers headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. .
The council supervises and evaluates training programs to obtain international accreditation, and sets procedures and mechanisms for issuing certificates in various health specialties and programs.
The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health said that the establishment of the Council would represent a qualitative leap forward that would enhance health training programs in the Kingdom of Bahrain and bring them in line with international standards.
Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa indicated that the establishment of the council will contribute to overcoming the challenges facing health training in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He praised the steps and measures taken in Bahrain to further develop the health sector, improve the level of services and enhance health education and training. .
