Manama, February 10 (BNA) The Royal University for Women celebrated Bahrain Sports Day by organizing various activities that witnessed the great participation of members of the academic and administrative bodies and students, led by the university president, Professor Yusra Mozaki. , on its campus in Riffa.
The sports event provided fun and enthusiastic interactions between staff and students, broke the work routine, promoted a culture of teamwork and entertainment, and promoted sports culture to adopt a healthy and enjoyable lifestyle.
The event program included a campus walk and table tennis competition, as well as a Zumba workout for college students and female employees that was held at RUW Sports Center. Gifts and prizes were distributed to the participants in the event.
On this occasion, RUW President Prof. Yusra Mozaki affirmed the university’s keenness to spread awareness of the importance of sports in its community. She added that sport is a mainstay at RUW to maintain a healthy and entertaining environment for both students and staff. This is clearly demonstrated by the presence of the RUW Sports Center that accommodates the various hobbies and sports interests of RUW members and includes fitness equipment and activities, a large swimming pool and a multi-sports court.
