Royal Guard’s taskforce rescues woman who had been trapped under rubble for 7 days

Manama, Feb. 13 (BNA): The search and rescue team of the Royal Guard of the Bahrain Defense Force succeeded in rescuing a woman who had been under the rubble for seven days in Turkey.

The Royal Guard task force is currently in Turkey, as part of Operation Relief Weapons, to search for survivors, injured and victims in the earthquake-affected areas in Turkey.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, posted a video clip of the rescue operation through his Instagram account.

His Highness Sheikh Nasser wrote in his account, “The heroes of Bahrain and Oman are saving a woman who was under the rubble for seven days… May God bless you with strength.”

The video clip showed members of the Royal Guard Task Force and Omani rescue workers removing a woman who had been stuck in the earthquake rubble for seven days.

The Search and Rescue Team of the Royal Guard began its humanitarian relief mission in Turkey last Saturday.
