What will you do:

Directs and controls all subordinate staff to ensure that daily operational matters are handled on time and guest expectations are met
Provide guidance and assistance to port employees and assist them in carrying out their duties and responsibilities
Oversees service standards at the outlet to ensure that they meet the required standards and meet or exceed customer expectations
Coordinates with kitchen, fit-out, bars, housekeeping and engineering to ensure the operation runs smoothly in areas of shared responsibility
– Preparing shift rosters, executing vacation schedules and official holidays
Assists in planning and executing promotional activities as directed
– Maximizing revenues at the outlet by implementing sales procedures.
Monitors and controls financial performance to control costs and expenses executed
Participates in preparing the annual administrative budget for the port as directed
Assists in the monitoring and control of the hotel’s original equipment inventory and participates in the inventory count
Carry out frequent checks from home to the front and back to ensure service procedures, hygiene and hygiene standards, repair and maintenance, staff care and staffing levels, and take appropriate action when necessary
Helps maintain management efficiency by preparing and submitting reports on time as directed
Ensures that the outlet meets and exceeds all KPIs stipulated in the Departmental Balanced Scorecard
Assists in the selection, training and evaluation of subordinate employees
– Trainers, consultants, majors and develop subordinate employees
– Represents the department in various committees and hotel activities

Your experience and skills include:

3-7 years related experience
High school diploma in addition to a technical certificate or diploma
– Good local and English language skills
– Strong organizational skills
– Ability to lead, motivate and develop a team of people
Sound management ability
– Able to handle demanding workloads
– Ability to work on a personal computer
– Proven track record in a hotel of similar standard and capacity
– Possession of all colleges
– Nice physical appearance
Makes policy decisions. Wanted to be proactive but help is available
Difficult – May face difficult situations that require modification of methods or techniques
Good interpersonal skills required. Interacts with both colleagues and guests
Deals or negotiations in both local and English languages. Useful for communication in other languages
