Your role and responsibilities

Assistant/Lenovo Professional/x86 Remote Technical Support Engineer
Provide remote technical support for hardware, troubleshooting and analysis assistance for hardware installation (or reinstallation), usage, configuration questions, and software installation for Lenovo/x86 products
– Provide technical support service within the framework of established guidelines; Demonstrate soft skills and technical skills that contribute to customer satisfaction. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.
Provide answers to general use and operational questions.
Provide identification of the problem/identify the source of the problem. Review the diagnostic information to help isolate the cause of the problem.
– Learn about known defects and fixes to solve problems.
Identify suspected defects and engage the escalation team to help resolve them.
Assist with questions related to product documentation related to supported products.
Interpretation of online manuals regarding IBM code and application interfaces.
Collaborate with support centers and other business units to provide a seamless problem resolution.
Demonstrate proficiency in the hardware platform backed by the maintenance of applicable technical certifications.
– English/French customer support, NA time zone, Shift dependent, 24/7.

Technical and professional experience required
– Bachelor’s. in Electronics / Communications / Computer Engineering – Computer Science.
– Excellent communication and problem solving skills
0-4 years of experience in technical support or similar fields
Fluency in English is a must, Canadian French an added advantage.
Express any particular aspect of the workplace to make it better “self-motivated.”
Handle business hours to meet business needs, whenever required.
