Manama, Dec. 9 (BNA): 791 contestants registered to participate in the third edition of the Holy Quran Award of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, including 339 women.
The competition is organized under the auspices of the Honorary Chairwoman of the Al-Noor Charitable Society, Her Highness Sheikha Lolwa bint Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The Al-Noor Charitable Charity Association organizes and supervises the award of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa for the Qur’an.
The registration, which began last October, has been extended until last Wednesday by the Organizing Committee.
The Organizing Committee is now intensifying preparations for the organization of the preliminary qualifying stage, which will take place from January 16 to 31.
The top ten contestants will be honored during the final stage that will be held during the month of Ramadan at the headquarters of the Al-Noor Charitable Charity Association.
