Job title
The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for generating candidates primarily through direct research and research to attract both passive and active candidates. The recruiter may manage the workload of an individual application, work directly with the hiring manager from the onset of discovery to provide negotiation or form part of a sourcing team, and provide qualified candidates for applications managed by IBM’s Talent Acquisition Partners. The recruiter will assist in identifying, developing, planning and implementing recruitment strategies using their knowledge of the market. They will act as the candidates’ first point of contact and will be able to sell the EVP to the client and speak knowledgeably about the company, the industry, and the opportunity for the role.

responsibilities
Participates in the role discovery meeting with the hiring manager and agrees on delivery expectations, schedules, and sourcing strategies
Consults with the hiring manager on role requirements and sector/market talent sourcing considerations that may impact delivery
Develop comprehensive and innovative sourcing strategies including passive candidate communication channels, recruitment marketing plans and mass talent mining.
Leads innovative programs, events, campaigns and communication channels to build referrals and candidate pipelines
Conducts or coordinates projects as required including; Email Marketing, Competitors Organizational Chart Mapping, Targeting Companies, Professional Associations and Alumni Mapping, Social Media, Cold Calling, Social Activities
– Use screening and selection criteria to identify qualified candidates and determine the relevant strength of candidates in the pool
Acts as a brand ambassador to engage passive candidates and develop and retain their interest in the client’s company
– Sources, screens and sends shortlists of candidates to Hiring Manager or TABPs
– Maintains systems accurately updated as needed.
Prioritize workload based on sourcing effort required to achieve weekly/monthly/quarterly production targets and revenue targets as set by the management team
Contributes, through excellent delivery, to high levels of customer satisfaction with service to enhance positive NPS scores, references and case studies from the account

Technical and professional experience required

At least 2 years of recruitment experience, with experience provided in an internal role, RPO or agency.
