Public Security Chief chairs RAP Scientific Council meeting

Manama, October 16 (BNA) Public Security Chief Lieutenant-General Tariq Al-Hassan chaired the meeting of the Scientific Council of the Royal Police Academy in the presence of the Authority’s Commander and Council members.

His Excellency welcomed the members, stressing the continuation of implementing the directives of the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to develop scientific and training programs to meet the changes and security challenges.

The council reviewed the topics on its agenda, including cooperation with the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies through the exchange of experiences and joint training courses.

The meeting reviewed the progress of the RAP Artificial Intelligence project. The Council highlighted the importance of the project to invest in modern technologies in the security and academic fields.

The Chairman of the Committee pointed out the importance of continuing to develop the services of the resettlement program in the education and training programs to achieve its objectives.

The Chief of Public Security thanked the RAP management and training teams, wishing them all the best.
