Responsible for managing multiple projects in line with the agreed budget/time budget and ensuring long and ongoing relationships with our clients by providing the best services.
Basic tasks:
• Manage the overall operational aspects of the business, delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and of the highest quality while exceeding our clients’ expectations.
• Manage a team of project managers/coordinators to ensure projects are delivered as per requirements.
• Develop, nurture and manage customer relationships and create opportunities for repeat business.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental management.
• Assist in establishing, and ensuring compliance of the short and long term objectives of the operational units with the company’s overall objectives.
• Planning, staffing and supervising all assigned work, establishing a network of continuous information and data between commercial management, design, procurement and production.
• Responsible for developing a strong field force for various locations by monitoring the availability and flow of staff as well as assigning teams to projects.
• Identifying and evaluating projects and manpower chiefs in the Operations Department & allocating workload accordingly.

• Operates and participates in technical discussion, attending meetings with clients when needed and as requested by management.
• Review and conduct practical meetings for engineering, materials and projects.
• Operating and following up the correspondence required to protect the rights of the company and coordinating with the legal department in all legal matters.
• Checking the monthly progress reports prepared for the projects for the monthly bills in order to determine with the clients/contractors the amount of the monthly payment/certificate and the amount of collection.
• Operating and coordinating with the various departments of Production, Estimation, Commercial, Purchasing and Logistics in order to ensure the smooth flow of materials to projects and to ensure that projects are advancing commercially.
• Examine and control project revenue cost, actual progress, variances, and estimate to complete and run the required coordination with the financial department.
• Review and participate in the assessment and reservation process when needed and at the request of management.
• Proficient in the use of tools, including welding equipment, laser levels, jacks, and metal shears
• Knowledge of applicable safety regulations
• Able to read and understand blueprints and has strong leadership capabilities.
Teaching experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in industrial, civil or mechanical engineering.
• Not less than 10+ years of experience working in the steel structure fabrication sector.
• Must have previous experience within the region with high-end projects, whether in the retail or hospitality sectors.
• Good organizational skills, team management skills, communication and interpersonal skills, flexibility, work ethic, attention to detail, honesty, and reliability.
• Gulf driving license required.
