Basic qualifications
• Strong system design and software architecture skills.
• Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (preferably C/C++ and/or Java on a UNIX or Linux platform)
• Knowledge of Perl or other scripting languages is a plus
• Experience with distributed (multi-level) systems, algorithms and relational databases
• Experience in math optimization (linear programming, nonlinear optimization)
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• Dealing well with ambiguous/unspecified problems. The ability to think abstractly
• Experience with Spring MVC
• Proficiency with HTTP, REST, XML, J2EE, JavaScript and AJAX
qualifications preferred
• Experience with artificial intelligence or machine learning
• Previous experience working in a large organization where you have led high-level design and engineering decisions
• Experience in Unix/Linux development
