Manama, May 14 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam praised the national achievements of the Bahraini press and the efforts exerted in shedding light on the comprehensive development process in Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The speaker expressed the House of Representatives’ pride in the national endeavors of the Bahraini press, and praised the continuous efforts made by the Ministry of Information, the Bahraini Journalists Association and all press societies in supporting the Bahraini press scene.
This came in the statements of the Muslim Speaker of Parliament on the occasion of the seventh session of the Prime Minister’s Award for Journalism, which was held under the auspices of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister today.
Al-Musallam congratulated the winners and all participants for their outstanding work.
He affirmed the keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to support the efforts of Bahraini journalists and columnists to present a positive image of the Kingdom at the local and international levels.
