Manama, May 14 (BNA): Under the patronage of the President of the National Council for the Arts, Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Council member Shaikha Dawa bint Khalid Al Khalifa inaugurated today the first art exhibition of the Bahraini Businesswomen’s Association (BBS), which includes a distinguished collection of artworks implemented by him. 13 members of the association.
Sponsored by Naseej, the exhibition is taking place for a week at the Safia Ali Kanoo Center for Arts and Crafts. Member of the Board of Directors of the Bahraini Businesswomen’s Association and head of the Cultural and Economic Committee, Manar Saria, said that the exhibition titled “Intilaaqah” was the first of the committee’s activities, as indicated by the name.
She added that the first edition of the exhibition includes 13 artists who are members of the association, displaying a range of different artworks. She also indicated that the exhibition will open its doors daily from 9 am to 9 pm
