Manama, September 20 (BNA) A phone call was made today between His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin. Zayed Al Nahyan.
The two sides affirmed the brotherly relations between the two countries in light of their mutual keenness to strengthen the mentioned relations. Efforts to enhance cooperation and coordination in many issues were also reviewed.
Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani praised the contributions of the UAE in the field of human rights, which led to its prominent position, noting the role of the UAE in promoting development, security and peace in the region. He wished the UAE continued progress and prosperity.
The two sides also reviewed many topics of common interest.
