Parliamentary Youth Culture Programme launched

Manama, July 26 (BNA) The fourth edition of the Parliamentary Culture Program for Youth was launched remotely and through personal attendance.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs, Legislation and Iftaa, the Bahrain Arab Toastmasters Club, and the National Communication Center will participate in the symposium.

More than 200 participants participate in the forum, and it includes lectures on the legislative branch of government in the Kingdom of Bahrain, parliamentary life, plenary sessions, and the work of committees.

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, referred to the steady institutional development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

She commended the constructive cooperation between the legislative authority and the government headed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

She stressed the importance of enhancing parliamentary culture, enhancing community awareness and empowering voters, which will positively affect the elections.

She stressed the keenness to support youth programs as top priorities, citing the King’s speeches that emphasized the importance of providing more opportunities for young people to contribute to national development.

Labor Minister Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan also praised the programs aimed at empowering Bahraini youth and enabling them to contribute to building the future of their country and achieving the aspirations of His Majesty the King, praising His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister for his support.
