Islamabad, November 18 (BNA) Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan praised the growing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Pakistan. He praised the Kingdom’s active role in strengthening regional and international relations and promoting international peace and security. He praised Bahrain’s civilized initiatives to serve humanity under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
The Pakistani Prime Minister praised the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in strengthening Bahraini-Pakistani relations and cooperation. He also praised the Kingdom’s outstanding achievement in combating the coronavirus pandemic. He stressed his country’s keenness to further enhance bilateral cooperation in the economic and investment fields.
The Pakistani Prime Minister was speaking during his reception today in the Pakistani capital, Parliament Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal and her accompanying delegation on the occasion of their official visit to Pakistan at the invitation of the Speaker of the National Assembly.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. She praised Pakistan’s supportive stances for Bahrain and its keenness on joint cooperation to deter terrorism and maintain regional security and stability. She stressed the importance of joint parliamentary diplomacy to coordinate positions in international forums to support the two countries’ issues, as well as Islamic and humanitarian issues.
