Interior Ministry unveils project to develop IT infrastructure

Manama, June 12 (BNA): The Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior for Planning and Organization, Shaikha Mashael bint Khalifa bin Hamad Al Khalifa, today launched a project to develop the infrastructure for information technology and electronic systems.

The project comes within the Ministry’s strategy to develop police work and transform it electronically, which contributes to enhancing the technical services provided.

She said in a statement that the project came after directives from the Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, to enhance the capabilities of security systems using modern technologies and increase efficiency.
