Manama, June 14 (BNA): The Ministry of Works and the Nasser Center for Research and Development of Artificial Intelligence agreed to intensify their cooperation in adopting future technologies through the exchange of knowledge and the use of artificial intelligence solutions in its research and development efforts. It will reflect positively on their projects.
Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Nuaimi, CEO of the Nasser Center for Research and Development of Artificial Intelligence, confirmed that the research center aims to develop smart solutions to transform the Kingdom into a smart country, by promoting the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the public and private sectors. Especially with the Ministry of Works to apply artificial intelligence techniques in infrastructure and increase the efficiency of operational processes through forecasting, sensing, monitoring, computer vision and building simulations in virtual reality.
Shaikh Mishaal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, said that the cooperation between the two sides is in line with the government’s directives to benefit from it. Artificial intelligence systems, digital transformation, and smart cities to improve infrastructure and public services, according to Bahrain Economic Vision 2023.
