Manama, July 6 /BNA/: Children born in September, October, November and December 2017 will now be accepted at the Ministry of Education to enroll in the first grade for the academic year 2023-2024, Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak Jumaa, Minister of Education, announced.
The minister explained that students and their parents can complete their registration in the hall of the Ministry of Education in Isa Town during the period from 20 to 27 July, indicating that the ministry will publish all the necessary details on its social media platforms.
Dr. Juma expressed his gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their support to the education sector.
He stressed that the decision to enroll children in school who have reached the age of compulsory education at any time during the school year will be a permanently applied policy.
The minister praised the role of the Ministry of Finance and National Economy in supporting the development projects of the Ministry of Education, and thanked His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and everyone who supported the realization of this step.
