Manama, July 11 (BNA): Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and member of the Council of Muslim Elders, Sheikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, praised the second session of the Emerging Peacemakers Forum, which is being held in Geneva, Switzerland. From 6 to 14 July.

In a statement, he highlighted the global participation of 50 young men and women from 24 countries, stressing the importance of the forum’s mission in preparing a generation of young people capable of actively contributing to peace-building and promoting the values ​​of dialogue, tolerance and coexistence. .

He expressed his gratitude to the Council of Muslim Elders headed by His Eminence Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, stressing that the Council’s focus on youth stems from a strong conviction of the crucial role that youth play.
